If you like doing a range of different activities and would like this to be reflected on the OurPath app, you can do this by converting these activities into step counts. 

You can use the chart below to determine the equivalent number of steps for your chosen activity.

Simply multiply the number of times you did the activity by the number of steps indicated on the chart. For example, 30 minutes of mopping equals 2550 steps (30 minutes x 85). If your activity is not listed below, find the one(s) most similar to it on the list and estimate the activity’s step value. You can also estimate steps by knowing that 2,000 steps equals one mile.

To add your steps from your activity in the OurPath app, please follow these steps:

  1. Under the ‘Track’ tab, select ‘Steps’
  2. Select ‘Add’ next to ‘Add steps manually’
  3. Enter in your additional steps and date of activity. Select ‘Add’.

Note: When using the OurPath activity tracker or if you are syncing your own activity tracker to the OurPath app, please make sure to manually enter in your steps retrospectively (e.g. on Tuesday enter the additional steps you did on Monday) so they will not be overridden. Please also ensure to add your steps for your exercise to the days total step count and add this total number retrospectively in order to not lose the existing step count.
